At the Ukrainian Institute of Internal Family Systems (UI IFS), we strive to bring the transformative power of Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy to individuals, practitioners, and communities in Ukraine and beyond. In continuous collaboration with the international community, our mission is to promote healing, self-discovery, and personal growth through the IFS model.
IFS Offerings
Official IFS Level 1 Training
In 2025, Ukraine hosted its first official IFS Institute Level 1 training.
This advanced training course is a unique opportunity for certified professionals to deeply immerse themselves in the IFS model and to receive an international certificate granting the right to use the method professionally. The next training is scheduled to begin in early 2026.
Workshops & Seminars
Join us for free monthly workshops and seminars on a range of IFS topics, led by both Ukrainian and international trainers and clinicians. These sessions provide valuable insights and practical tools, fostering growth and connection within the IFS community.
PAUSE for Self-Leadership™
This educational workshop series from the Self-Leadership Collaborative (SLC) team supports mental health professionals in Ukraine who care for children, their families, and caregivers experiencing the horrors of the ongoing war in their country. Through 6 experiential sessions you learn the 5 steps of PAUSE to integrate IFS as an everyday framework for working collaboratively with your clients and colleagues. You can learn more about official PAUSE for Self-Leadership™️ trainings here.
PAUSE helps us to discover the strength and wisdom within ourselves to join forces to create free and compassionate relationships.
Peer Supervision Group
Our peer supervision groups provide a supportive space for professionals to discuss cases, share insights, and learn from one another under the guidance of experienced IFS practitioners.
These groups are ideal for ongoing learning and connection: a place to notice the parts of yourself that become activated in the therapeutic process, and to practice relating to them with awareness rather than acting from them. Peer Supervision Group provides supportive space for professionals from Ukraine.
About Ukrainian Institute of IFS
About IFS
IFS is a powerful and innovative model of psychotherapy developed by Dr. Richard C. Schwartz. It is based on the understanding that each of us is composed of multiple inner parts, and at our core is a Self that embodies compassion, curiosity, and calm. The IFS model offers a non-pathologizing, respectful approach to healing by helping individuals connect with their Self and bring harmony to their internal system.
About UІ IFS
Ukrainian Institute of Internal Family Systems (UI IFS) is an international partner of IFS Institute (USA). We are dedicated to promoting the transformative practice of Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy across Ukraine and internationally. As part of a global community, we bring evidence-based training, workshops, and therapeutic services to professionals and individuals seeking healing, growth, and self-awareness.
