A Conversation with Sally Babbers about the Therapeutic Relationship. IFS Model Q&A

There are no questions that are "too simple" or "too basic". Often, the very questions we hesitate to ask—or feel shy about—are the most important for our practice and require the greatest clarity.

This session is designed as a safe space where you can ask any questions—from foundational to complex clinical ones—and discuss practical aspects of applying the IFS model within therapeutic relationships.

Our guest: Sally Bubbers is a Level 3 trained IFS therapist and Approved IFS Certification Consultant, Certified Advanced Sensorimotor Psychotherapist and level 3 trained in Deep Bain Reorienting.

She has worked with short term Employee Assistance Programmes and as a GP counsellor, but the majority of her work has been working long term with adults who live with the legacy of developmental trauma and abuse, which results in complex and fragmented systems. She has a particular interest in working with non-verbal somatic parts.

Through working with these hypervigilant client systems she is also interested in the way that our parts, (as a therapist) can react, respond and sometimes blend with the client’s system.

She is happy to receive any questions about the model. No question is too basic – they are normally the ones we need to clarify.
